No bandwagon this year

Tony had his little Redskins pregame bit with Andy tonight, since the Redskins Pregame show displaced the Sports Reporters.

There a little bit about Deion, little bit abou the QBs, little bit of Gibbs. Nothing you haven't heard before.

How about Wilbon taking another day off, after being back to work for two days after a month of vacation/Olympics? Way to enjoy that new contract, Mike. :>

good news, everyone

No Tony today (he was taking Michael to college in Philadelphia), but we did learn that TK and Wilbon have renewed their PTI contracts for FIVE YEARS!

Now, when's the radio show coming back?

Breaking News

Will the Kobe Trial be dismissed before it even starts? Mr. Tony is in a holding pattern right now, since there are rumors the trail may be over.

(It's 5:35 if you know more than I do as I write this.)

And now, Deion, who was on PTI today. We discuss briefly the fact that Junior is writing a book about the Ravens and will Mr Tony help Junior with getting access to Prime Time.

More bashing and then praise of Junior. You've heard it all before.

The QB debate

Today's topic is Brunell vs. Ramsey, after Gibbs named the former the starter yesterday. Gibbs is more comfortable with older QBs, although TK wonders about the dropoff Brunell had over the last couple years.

And now, we talk about Serena's boots last night at the US Open. TK thinks she's cool, but wondered about the boots and the jean skirt. TK also talked about the olden times when he used to cover the US Open on a regular basis and how it's fallen.

Olympic Mayhem

TK wraps up the Olympics, including the marathon inteloper. They debated whether he was wearing a dress or a kilt.

And he got a suspended sentence, which was more than the guy who jumped in the pool.

And the guy who got attacked. No double gold medal, but maybe give him $50.

TK is also tired of Paul Hamm, especially on the Today show. TK took aim at the Aunt Bea's of the world, who wanted him to give the medal back.

As for the basketball team, "Richard Jefferson stinks." Tony was surprised how big Lamar Odom played and how Iverson represented himself.
